What is the beet cancer challenge?

Research has shown that healthy eating and regular exercise reduce the risk of cancer diagnosis. The Beet Challenge encourages participants to practise the good habits we should all be adopting to minimise our risk of disease. The best part is that you will learn more about yourself and come away accomplishing personal change even as you raise funds for those that face the challenge of cancer. For one month you follow a guided diet and exercise regimen. There are three paths that you can choose from: Initiator, Changemaker and Specialist.

And there is also a version for Teens... hence the whole family can do the Beet Cancer Challenge!

SO how does this help cancer research?

You do all the hard work, give up sweets, get down to the gym, but it's up to your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. All money raised goes to cancer research.

The link below makes it very easy to set up a fundraising page. We provide flyers and stickers you can print to help promote the challenge, but get creative! Don't forget to use the tag #beetcancerchallenge
